The crew of unloaders worked along side each other for several months forming a camaraderie solidified by shouldering the load of such demanding work. An unlikely opportunity arose when management from a facility they were dispatched to expressed dissatisfaction with their current employer and offered them an opportunity to put a team of unloaders together and take over the container management contract.
Dissatisfied with unrealistic expectation of performing such physically demanding work coupled with ridiculously low wages from their current employers, the team recognized an opportunity to solve the labour demand in this niche industry. The crew formed a company under a different name at the time and committed to increasing wages and invest in an adequate recruitment program in hopes to hire and retain a higher calibre unloader.
Precision Warehouse Solutions approached several other container management companies in hopes to team up and share resources. PWS services over 12 cities in 3 different provinces across Canada with plans to enter markets abroad. Combined PWS manages several hundred containers each week and a team of over 100 members.
